How content is created
Most of our guides are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, including large language models. Our process is:
- Research: we choose topics from real search demand and study what travellers are asking and what current top results cover.
- Drafting: an AI model writes a draft to strict rules. It must not invent personal experiences, exact prices, opening hours, statistics or quotes. It gives costs only as approximate ranges and points readers to official sources for visas, permits and health.
- Automated review: a separate fact-checking pass softens or removes anything uncertain, outdated or unsafe. Automatic quality checks then test length, structure, duplication and banned phrases. Articles that fail are held back and not published.
- Corrections: we act on reader reports and update articles when information changes.
Photos
We use openly licensed photos (with credit to the photographer and licence) or our own photos. We do not present AI-generated images as real photos of a place.
